addictions.

Photobucket

We always assume the worst of everybody.

Overdoing just about anything is considered an addiction, let it be smoking cigarettes, spending money on useless artifacts, or binge eating too many Starbucks blueberry muffins. These acts are called “addictions” because the so called “addicted” abandon their psychological self-control and surrender themselves completely to their injurious obsession. The key is that the act has to be harmful, either to yourself or to others, in order to be called an addiction. Or maybe what is harmful is the surrender itself; allowing something to control and possess you could be detrimental to your sense of identity.

What you need right now is to forget yourself completely. Forget all those redundant troublesome celebrity gossip tales that infect your brain and simplify yourself.

Don’t worry, the roses are crusty and dead anyways.
